After 9 and a half years living here, it was time to leave São Miguel and start pursuing new adventures again. One of my last goodbyes (for now) to Furnas, which is an enchanting little village in the middle of the island. I spent many hours in Terra Nostra garden, soaking up the serenity offered by nature.

Cape Palliser in the Wairarapa is well worth a visit. There are many New Zealand fur seals to be seen and the views from the lighthouse above the bay are stunning!

Below are a few photos from Terceira Island in the Azores archipelago. I was last there in 2019 and am looking forward to going back soon. The city of Angra do Heroísmo is full of beautiful historic buildings and there are lots of other little gems around the island.
